Only 15 days left until the opening of the International Exhibition “Cultural Tourism” – Veliko Tarnovo 2019
For the 16th year in a row, from the 18th to 20th of April, Veliko Tarnovo will host the biggest event in the field of cultural tourism.
The halls in the Palace of Culture and Sport “Vasil Levski” will welcome participants from different countries who will present unique historical sights and attractive cultural events.
The most loved tourist destinations have already booked their exhibition stands and are awaiting to meet their fans of educational trips.
The visitors of the exhibition will be able to choose among spring and summer holidays offered by Varna, Stara Zagora, Razgrad, Etropole, Rousse, Svishtov, Bourgas, Troyan, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Smolyan. The unique combination of healing waters and tourist attractions are the accent in the offers from Devin, Varshets and Velingrad.
The historical museums of Razgrad, Klisura and Karlovo draw visitors with interesting thematic exhibitions and precious relics.
The first participants from abroad are representatives from the Diplomatic Missions of China, Vietnam, Palestine and the Republic of South Africa. This year’s edition of the exhibition also includes the team of the tourist information center in the Serbian town of Dimitrovgrad.
The Cluster Festival in Bulgaria will present attractive events, fests and festivals from all over the country and the Business Center in Montana will show their artistic performances on the open stage in front of the Palace of Culture and Sports in Veliko Tarnovo.
During the days of the exhibition, residents and guests of the city can take part in various handicraft workshops or master the first steps in the most popular traditional crafts and show their talent in painting Easter eggs.
The only specialized forum for cultural tourism in the Balkans is organized by the municipal tourism agency “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” on the initiative of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and co-operation of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Under the patronage of Minister Nikolina Angelkova on the 18th of April will be held a roundtable discussion with Bulgarian and Russian tour operators and tourism specialists.
The registration for participation in the 16th edition of the International Exhibition “Cultural Tourism” is still open. All municipalities, NGOs, cultural institutions and tourism companies.
Within the forum are held the National Competition for Publications and Events connected to the Cultural Tourism “Read and Travel”, the literary feasts “Foyer of the book with an autograph” and the International Tour Film Fest “On the East Coast of Europe”.
