The XIX International Tourist Fair “Cultural Tourism” – Veliko Tarnovo

For 18 years Veliko Tarnovo hosts

a specialized exhibition for cultural tourism, which is organized by the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo in partnership with the national organizations of tour operators, hoteliers and restauranteurs in Bulgaria and with the support of the Ministry of Tourism.

ITF ``Cultural tourism`` established itself as the most authoritative platform for presenting the efforts of municipalities, tourism companies, civil associations for the development of cultural tourism. The event is included in the Annual National Tourism Advertising Program.

The program of the fair includes:

  • specialized tourist exhibition with the participation of municipalities, tourist companies, cultural institutes and diplomatic missions;
  • a conference program implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture;
  • national student competition on issues related to the current development of tourism and the prospects for the sector;

The XVIII-th edition of the International Tourist Fair ``Cultural Tourism`` expands its scope and this year provides special opportunities for producers of traditional regional food and beverages to participate, as an opportunity for direct meetings between representatives of the tourism industry and producers of quality food products.

We invite you to take part in the specialized section of the ITF ``Cultural Tourism`` - ``Trapezitsa - stories about the Bulgarian taste``.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for a modern presentation of many small and medium-sized enterprises from the country, which with their activities preserve different local traditions and activities.

The exhibition is a chance for farms and small producers of food based on unique family recipes to discover new clients and admirers.

On the days of the exhibition, each of the participants has the opportunity to organize a tasting of the offered products in a specially equipped tasting area or to make an original promotion for the visitors.
