After a two years hiatus the International tourism fair “Cultural tourism” will gather again participants from different parts of Bulgaria and the world that will present their cities and regions, tourist sites, new attractions and services, cultural and tourism issues. For a very first time this year the fair will be held in September, together with Night of Samovodska Charshia (the old artisan street) and arts and crafts festival. It will also be a part from the National celebrating of the Bulgarian independency.
The International tourism fair will take place in “Rafael Mihaylov” exhibition halls in Veliko Tarnovo and the open-air stage at the Old artisan’s street from 23rd till 25th of September.
The programme of the fair includes:
– Round table themed “Proposing stimuli for internal tourism of Bulgaria”, organized together with the Ministry of Tourism;
– International competition for cultural tourism publications and events “Read and Travel”
– National students’ competition for best essay on the issues of tourism;
– Seminars and discussions about the potential for development of cultural tourism, based on current issues.
The fair is organized by the initiative of Veliko Tarnovo municipality and the Municipal tourism agency “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” LTD, with the assistance of the Ministry of tourism of Bulgaria.
